GameTap: Star Wars: The Force Unleashed Preview

Back in 2002, people simply failed to understand his predictive abilities, and therefore mocked the way he floated about on screen, wielding his curtain rod like a lightsaber. Who knew that it would only take six years before Nintendo turned exaggerated object-waving into a gameplay technique? Looks like he did.

You probably already know that the basic premise of Star Wars: The Force Unleashed is that you play as Darth Vader's secret apprentice in a story set between Episodes III and IV. The game is hitting practically every console out on the market; while the PS3 and Xbox 360 versions will look the snazziest, the Wii version, while not part of the HD generation, will be the one that gives you an excuse to act like a Jedi in your living room.
