Square Enix was showing off the English version of Space Invaders Extreme at Nintendo's Media Summit. IGN had the Japanese version of the game in the office for a while and declared it awesome a while back. But now IGN can actually read all the menus, meaning an already excellent experience has gotten just that much better.

Now, a decade later and with Space Invaders hitting its 40th anniversary, Space Invaders Extreme has been revived on PC. It’s roughly based on the Xbox 360 version but with a some major tweaks and quality-of-life enhancements.
