A Detailed Look at the Multi-Player Aspects of GTA Online

Everyone's heard about the huge scope of Grand Theft Auto V's ambitious multi-player, but not much has been said about the classic aspects of the mode. These classic matches and creation tools can be used within the world of GTA's multi-player.

Can we do this?:

* One team tries to Rob a Bank

* Second team tries to stop them ( cops )

The theifs have to pull off the heist and get away to a secure location before the cops can get them.

* It would take place in two parts, the heist and the chase.

You could in theory, stop them at the heist if your good enough.

* Basically Pay Day + GTA 5.

That would be pretty awesome. Could be cool if some people could choose to play as cops for a bit and just be patrolling around. Maybe be able to stop not only other players from committing crimes but also NPCs that might be doing something illegal.

Will online multiplayer be available day one or is still need to be downloaded later?

It won't become available until Oct 1st. It will most likely need some kind of patch to run but I expect most of it initially comes on disc and is installed at the same time as GTA V.

That part I'm ok with. Just means I'll have time to get used to the game and know my way around the map.
