Xbox One, The Improved CPU And The Systems Production Quality

Microsoft recently announced that they'd upgraded the Xbox One's CPU from 1.6 GHZ to 1.75 GHZ, and have already begun production with this model. Developers will shortly be receiving the new models, allowing them to test and alter their games as much as they can between now and the Xbox One's launch.

The news on here is for Sony fanboys so they can carry on with there mindless bashing and not seeing it is good to have competition.

its really good to own all consoles because they all have somethin the other does not.

if there was only one like alot of people on here act like there should be, well i do not even want to think about that tbh...

"Microsoft recently announced that they'd upgraded the Xbox One's CPU from 1.6 GHZ to 1.75 GHZ, and have already begun production with this model."?

Seriously ? The cpu wasn't upgraded, the clock speed was augmented, actually the cpu could go up at 2GHz. Both Ps4 and Xbox could make their CPUs running at 2GHz( which is their normal state), but they were under-clocked to prevent more heat and noise.

Just google a little.

thrust4301d ago

More ghz does not allways mean faster/better.

there is a sweet spot for every bit of hardware, my gfx card performs better at mid clocks then me ramming up.

it not my cpu bottlenecking aswell.

thrust4301d ago

Plus underclocking will not change the heat that much at all, i have been and done all the overclocking phase in my life years of doing it from when futuremark was madonion, if heat was a problem then they would of changed the cpu or voltage.

it makes not sense what you are saying.

not a chance in hell what you are saying is true.

thrust4301d ago

And again MS did not say they upgraded the CPU.

Your post is mad so much nonsense!

How can "games be more powerful" (I'm paraphrasing)? That was rather poorly worded. It's up to the system.

Heisenburger4301d ago

Game powah!

Lol Good catch there.

Perhaps they strength test them? ;)

ATi_Elite4301d ago

I like to sprinkle steroids on my disc for MORE GAME POWAH!!!

Bad article. I wasn't sure if he liked Xbox one or what?. Who compares ps3 to Xbox one. I think you meant Xbox 360. Anyways I'm pretty sure there will be no red ring this time. Microsoft made this console to be always on for a 10 year span. So there will be no red ring its bin takin care of. Relax.

My head hurts after reading that so called "article". There should be a law against posting such garbage...
