Feel Free to Support PAX, Just Know that You're Wrong in Doing So

Certain issues out there will never be funny, will never be satirical, and should never, under any circumstances be supported.

To support PAX is to support rape culture, and that my friends is absolutely wrong. There's no other way to say it.

Great article. Someone had to say it.

Not really. Just white knights getting worked up over nothing.

The dickwolves joke was in poor taste, but it is a little bit much to say that to support PAX is to support rape culture. Certainly the Penny Arcade guys didn't handle the dickwolves situation well.

There point was more that they should have the creative freedom to make commentary on societal issues in a manner that they see fit. They where also trying to show that they didn't intend any malicious ill will towards any particular group with the comic strip.

The problem came into play when they down played the issue of people who have been raped or know someone who has been raped being offended by their comic strip. Either way the whole thing was in poor taste, but it wasn't intended to have a malicious message or support actual rape.

The only thing I hated there was there was SO many people. To the point where you could not even enjoy anything. You have to pick and choose what games you wanted to sit there and camp out for to play. If there was ever a fire, people would be screwed. Because as we all seen there. It was so packed in those halls and rooms you couldn't move much at all.
