I Can't Get Over How Pretty This Zombie Game Looks

Kotaku - These five new screenshots for Dying Light, Dead Island developer Techland's upcoming free-running zombie survival game, were released by Warner Bros. accompanying an announcement about the game's competitive "Be The Zombie" mode.

It was just a matter of time before someone decided to do a free roaming zombie game that should actually never end???

HolyDuck4317d ago

You haven't played either, please do tell me how you've come to this conclusion?

Graphics Look better than dead rising 3.

Graphics define a great game now? We should all game on PC's then.

Let's not forget dead rising 3 have hundreds of zombies on screen. This one Xteen.

Still I'm hyped for this game like seriously. 4 players co-op here I come! Night time looks great btw.

Sorry but this game will be crap just like every Dead Island.. Why does Techland keep going at this? I mean they just finished that last project and they already working on another one.

When the last one was rushed as well. Why do they have to push them out so fast.. It obviously never ends that well.

Well that's just like, your opinion man.

Roccetarius4317d ago

Because people are foolish enough to keep búying the games. Sad as it is, it's hard to change that.

While Dead Island wasn't the game they made it out to be, it was still a fun game. It had some solid gameplay time, and it was fun as hell when you played with friends.

Nobody bought it for an obvious reason.

Gamingsince1981124d ago

Wtf did this edition come with ? A real helicopter and a real zombie virus ?

Vithar124d ago

For one lucky person willing to spend $386,000, the My Apocalypse Edition of Dying Light promised a staggering collection. It included the buyer’s face in the game, a human-sized ‘Volatile’ statue, and parkour lessons with a freerunning team. It also came with night vision goggles, an all-expenses paid round trip to Techland’s offices, and four signed copies of the game. Oh, and it also came with a custom-built, ‘zombie-proof’ survival shelter.

LOL but it was a stunt from the team:
‘It was a PR stunt and got a lot of media attention for its wild and over-the-top nature, it was designed to generate buzz around the game’s release. It did a great job of getting the game noticed, though! But nobody purchased it – thankfully, I guess!’

I finally beat DL2 this past weekend. I’ll pick up the Beast for sure.

It got a lot of shit from fans more not being as scary at night on release. I was in that boat. But once I gave it a fair shot I really loved it. The movement was so much more expressive to me. I enjoyed the story too.... for the most part. Was my game of the year when it came out. With all the updates for darker nights and all that, it's even better. I feel almost exactly the same about stalker 2 right now. The erojank games are scratching my itch.
