IGN Editor Scott Lowe has retracted from earlier controversial statement against PS4 and Sony. So was that whole controversy (a well planned set-up) to attract Playstation community?
Sometimes it's better to keep your mouth shut than to open up and make everyone see you're a [email protected]$$.
What is with the IGN staff "Some concerning facts: Sony has yet to show a functioning PS4 or a hands-on Remote Play demo with under three months until launch." I think the Playstation booth had functional PS4s. Also I love this response "Graham Thacker @ScottLowe you just completely undermined the integrity of your ps4 bf4 article by this tweet"
If staff at IGN, Gamespot, Eurogamer, etc. had to apologise for all their dodgy comments about the PS3 the last 7 years they would not have time for reviews or articles! Such a mass-press bias last time. Would be great for gamers to get pro-PS4, pro-XB1 and pro-WiiU intent, i.e. pro-gaming, this next gen. Good journalism can still provide truthful and insightful viewpoints whether good or bad - but it would be nice to read journalists work without wondering what perks they were getting from publishers or MS/Sony/Nintendo. We can dream...
Scott Lowe needs to worry about what he loves, Xbox and COD. And refrain from commenting on PS4 and alpha builds of games on it.
Think before you speak. It saves alot of silly arguing.
Agreed, but silly arguing is the name of the game. Look at N4G.
how much microsoft paid this guys for this whole controversy
Exactly what I was thinking. And it's been happening more and more. They must be making the rounds with payouts to websites to try and make PS4 look bad.
I was just waiting for this counter article to pop up. Now double the hits for gamepur. XD
Well its official: A good majority of gaming journalism is based on troll tactics. Not seeing how its ever going to become respectable.
Just proves what I said before. Scott Lowe is a freakin turd!
this guy seems to troll on ps4 in a sly way so people cant bait him out... first with bf4 and now this but of course failed hard and made a fool out of himself.
Well said, I don't understand this guy's beef with PS4.
Maybe he was waiting in line to play a PS4 and Sony cut him right off before it was his turn and got mad xD.
Scott was at the beach with his best gal, you see. Then big bad Sony came and kicked sand in his face, and thus by the rules of the beach Sony took his girl.
@majin-vegeta LOOL he must have seen greg miller with yoshida and cerny at the VIP zone while he had to wait on the line! LOL imagine that!
this guy's in his period or something
I wonder what the memo line reads on the checks Scott Lowe cashes from MS?
PS4 defending itself again? What else is new except Lowe becoming the Giles of IGN. I'll forgive Scott though, he probably wanted those clicks. Haha
What a dumbass
Maybe he missed these under every game at the Sony booth, BF4 booth, AC4 BF booth, Watch Dogs Booth, Destiny's booth and some of EA's booth at Gamescom. https://sphotos-b-sjc.xx.fb...
Scott Lowe is a schill. Deliberately flame baiting his articles to get hits for IGN. This and the BF4 article are perfect examples.
That's why I don't click through on these type articles. They are normally just baiting for page clicks. They got to keep their advertisers happy.
Ign is the biggest Sony fanboy site out there well next to n4g.
I think we must be discussing a different IGN.
U wot m8?
Ermmm... pretty sure that all of the booths had functioning PS4's under them. It is quite ordinary for closed doors presentations and the like NOT to use the actual console, released or not. As a gaming journalist he should know that. It seems he just wanted to stir things up. Penis.
N4G is a community of gamers posting and discussing the latest game news. It’s part of NewsBoiler, a network of social news sites covering today’s pop culture.
