Yeah, I was stoked for ESO until they announced a subscription service. Now I'll just stick to all those free to play MMO's on the PS4 instead.

I mean seriously, are console gamers going to pay a subscription to play online, pay to buy the game, and then pay another subscription to play the game.

Bethesda priced themselves right out of the market with this subscription crap.

The MMO is F2P now - even Blizzard has been tossing around ways to remove WoW's subscription model.

Agreed. I was planning on getting this game on a console. Now I'm not so sure that I will buy it at all.

I don't have a large amount of time to spend on a game like this. I was just going to play it at my leisure. Now if the subscription, and microtransactions that they're throwing around goes through, there is no way for me to justify buying this game.
