Nathan Misa of MMGN: "The PS Vita has gotten a lot of flak lately for not having consistent and compelling software releases, especially exclusives, but with Gamescom 2013 revealing a slew of new games, and blockbusters Killzone: Mercenary and Tearaway on the horizon, it’s nothing but a great time to be a Vita owner.
However, that’s not to say there aren’t already several must-have exclusive games to play right now! MMGN takes a look at the best, most essential exclusive Vita games you shameful pessimists should already have played."
Freedom Wars 2 was also in the works
A huge SEGA / Atlus Nintendo Switch eShop sale with over 50 games on sale, including Persona 3 Portable, Persona 4 Golden, and more.
With rumors of a Persona 4 remake allegedly launching soon, it may be time to replay Persona 4 Golden and relive the adventure in Inaba.
4 is my favorite Persona so I’m hyped for a remake. I’ve played Golden a few times and the original a couple times so I’m ready for the remake
P4 Golden literally justified the VITA at the time (incredibly slick on that OLED display as well... huge memories for me). P4 on PS2 was awesome (I played it on my BC ps3 at the time) but Golden elevated it, again- that screen and the intimate feel of playing it on a handheld made it feel way less dated.... I love that game. That and Ys memories of Celceta, Killzone and some of the other incredible games made the VITA intensely memorable even if mostly due to the name (same fate as the Wii U) nobody knew what it was initially and it went by the wayside (idiots blame the cards but literally nobody but a few loud people on forums cared about the cards, mostly because they were hoping to pirate, one small cheap card held tons of games- it was never a problem)
That's actually a really good list. Can't say I disagree with any of them as they all deserve to be there for different reasons.
Yeah....you don't need to play Unit 13.
Other Vita games announced, but not mentioned:
The Walking Dead (with Vita controls)
Malicious Rebirth
Ragnarock Ace
Soul Sacrifice bored me to tears. Ended up trading it in.
Not gonna lie, if you own a vita and dont own P4G, go get it, Ive never smiled, fist pumped and yelled F** Yea so much in my life. Idk, theres something about that masterpiece that just makes you feel good.
But the entire list is pretty good, I didnt like uncharted though. I havent played any uncharted games before so i dont have a gauge, but im not a fan of this whole follow the straight line while listening to people talk thing.
