Arc System Works wants fresh start for Guilty Gear series

A few more details on the upcoming Guilty Gear Xrd series and Arc System Work's wishes to get more people playing Guilty Gear than ever before. A few screenshots from location tests and some more info is available in the article.

Arc says they are trying for a fresh start with the Guilty Gear series and I hope they get it because it's an amazing series with deep roots in the FGC.

Agreed, really pumped for this Guilty Gear "reboot" especially considering how fantastic both Blaz blue and Persona 4 Arena turned out.

It's funny how so called purists are hating already . GG was/is fun , but way too complex sometimes without much gain from the difficulty in the process .

They all fear it's gonna be like blazblue , wich took the proper cues and must haves from GG , remains very complex , and is it's own thing anyway .

The GG reboot doesnt have to be like blazblue obviously , and could still be more technical , however it needs to get rid of excess baggage ... unless you want the same dwindling circle jerk of "pure/elite players" that had their chances and constant re-releases and updates .
