Ponytails Added to CoD, Male Fanbase Explodes

CCC Says: "During the Call of Duty: Ghosts multiplayer reveal, I noticed something that kind of put me off. When the presenter announced that females would be playable in Ghosts, he chuckled. Now, I don’t presume to know the intention of said chuckle. Maybe he thinks it’s funny that females are being included in the game, maybe he doesn’t. Maybe he was just thinking of a really inappropriate joke that a buddy of his told him backstage. Who knows? But one thing is for sure–he chuckled at the wrong damn time. And if the giggle was indeed a summation of how he feels about females in the game, he (apparently) isn’t alone."

Well, "men" who have never felt a vigina tend to be strangly mesogenous. Taking pathetic people's opinions seriously is like having an intelectual conversation with a 5 year old.

The title of the article kind of goes against the point of the article. Ponytails are not exclusive to women, nor are women defined by Ponytails.

Just from my observation since the announcement, I would say the reception has been mostly positive except for the collection of people who already harass women once the find one is in the game with them. I'm more concerned with the potential outcry of people once more game videos come out showing female characters being shot or stabbed. Some are going to feel that its not right to depict that while ignoring that the woman are being shown as equal combatants to the their male counterparts. Listen to the most recent IGN Podcast Unlocked for an example of this, from gaming journalists nonetheless.

The title was clearly a play on words. But I agree the point of this article seems to be to make up a contravery but shining a light on the comments of random people. If there is a contravercy it'll be over bullsh*t, like always.

Yes I understand it was a play on words. An bad and unnecessary one. Often a writer can try to be too clever and it undermines the point of their writing.

Uhhh, I'm pretty sure the dude was chuckling because it's about dang time female soldiers were introduced. I don't particularly care for CoD, but this is making a big deal out of nothing. I seriously don't think he was mocking women by laughing about their introduction.
