Top 10 Square/Square Enix Games

Square Enix should get their game engine unified. One Game Engine for Deus Ex, Tomb Raider, Hitman. Hopefully they can Top their top games.

I understand where you're coming from, but bear in mind they are a publisher, so they have all of these studios that use different engines - and the engines area all good for different genres, look at the Cry Engine for example, Crysis, Far Cry, Sniper Ghost Warrior( I think thats what its called) all are first person.
The Naughty Dog engine - all 3rd person
all engines can be optimised for different platforms aswell, like the Unity game engine, it is mainly for mobile. Unreal engine is for console/ PC's

So as far as your comment goes, a unified engine would be great, saves time, money, resources - as long as the engine suits the requirements for the game being developed, another example:

They need to go back and remake those awesome games. Lol make a remake of actraiser on the Deux Ex engine :P

Dragon Quest VIII hands down for me. Probably my favorite jrpg from last gen.

I hate the fact that Squeenix has been basically taking a dump on their western studios in favor of flogging the JRPG dead horse. They actually considered Tomb Raider, a critically and financially succesful game, a failure because it sold "only" 3 million+ copies. And when they reported losses, they cut people from their western studios, the ones actually making their more critically acclaimed games lately. It infuriates me.
