PALGN writes: "For every decent Naruto game that's released, there are always a handful of mediocre titles to follow. Late last year, Naruto fans were treated to the likes of Rise of a Ninja for the Xbox 360 and Ultimate Ninja 2 on the PlayStation 2, which were both considered respectable titles. Since then, games such as Ninja Council and Ninja Destiny have also been released, and while they did show some initial promise in their core gameplay mechanics, they ultimately suffered from poor execution. Naruto: Uzumaki Chronicles 2 doesn't break this trend.
While Uzumaki Chronicles 2 is set in the Naruto world, the story is completely original and doesn't borrow any plot points from the TV series. In the game, Naruto and the other Hidden Leaf Village ninjas discover that the ancient Shirogane Clan, who once waged war against the surrounding nations, have returned and are trying to revive the Master Puppet. The Master Puppet is said to be the most powerful puppet of all, and was sealed away in five spirit orbs to contain its power and prevent the Shirogane Clan from destroying the land. Naruto and his friends must now find the spirit orbs, and discover the true intentions of the Shirogane Clan."
dailygamesnews.com - We happened to stumble across a supplier of contact lenses who happened to have a pretty good selection of contact lenses from Japanese Manga Anima cartoon/videogame Naruto. Cosplay in Japan is huge, and so is Naruto.
I imagine that would umm hurt your eyes while constantly being in your feild of view adn it would also mess up your ability to focous? in my opinion
I've never seen a blue sharingan..but then again the manga is in black and white so maybe there is, but i doubt it.
NZGamer writes: "The original Naruto: Uzumaki Chronicles was a good example of how not to make an Action RPG; it featured repetitive missions, a simple over-world map with over-done random battles and the dreaded escort levels, which were near impossible to complete. Judging by Naruto's first piece of dialog - "Glad that mission is over" - it's a safe bet he hated the original Uzumaki Chronicles, too. Now we have a sequel, Naruto: Uzumaki Chronicles 2, that reuses both good and bad elements from the original.
Naruto: Uzumaki Chronicles 2's paper-thin story tying the action together tells of the (previously thought to be extinct) Shirogane 'Cursed Puppet' clan which has come back out of the shadows and is seeking out the spirit orbs. Along the way the Shirogane manage to set fire to Leaf village in their efforts to locate one of the orbs; as a result the Leaf Ninjas set out to stop them. The first mission merely involves putting out the fire and setting up a base of operations in the newly watered down Leaf Village. After this first mission, Naruto: Uzumaki Chronicles 2 sinks back into the repetition of fighting bandits and possessed puppets."
In Naruto: Uzumaki Chronicles 2, an ancient organization which was long thought disbanded is alive and in search of several orbs to resurrect a mechanical horror that will ravage the land. It's now up to Naruto and all the Hidden Leaf Genin to join forces with those of the Hidden Sand Village to stop this menace.
Naruto: Uzumaki Chronicles 2, already available in North America, is scheduled for European release in March 2008.
