Project Phoenix‘s Kickstarter cavalcade continues. Less than two hours ago it passed the $250,000 dollars mark, and at the moment of this writing the indie JRPG is already sitting comfortably on $270,786. The good news keep trickling in, as the PS4 and PS Vita versions are planned to be released in physical form.
“I do want to finish the game. I do want to, I even want to, I never said this in an interview before, but I even want to refund their money because we didn’t keep the timeline.” Yura explains.
Kickstarter backers can be a negative bunch, but it seems they reserve most of their piss and vinegar for Japanese developers. Why is that?
Joanna Mueller writes: "In the end, CIA's increased scope only served to drive backers further away. Players were not impressed when the team finally released a vertical cut of the new 3D gameworld. CIA was reluctant to start over after investing so much money into their 3D models."
This is good news for gamers who enjoy boxed copies with art and everything else
Wow this Kickstarter is doing very well. 250 k in 2 days. Still 28 to go. Can't wait, looks amazing.
To bad no Wii-U version....I cant see why they would pass up bringing it there but green-light a Vita version :/
yes vita!!!!!!
sad no wii U
The reason why Its coming to PS4 is because of how easy and cheap it is to make a PS4 version.
Its coming to Vita because its architecture is similar to android, so it'll be easy to bring it to Vita.
My guess for why it isn't coming to Xbox One is because of the probable low success rate the game would have on the platform.
