FIFA 14 On The Wii U Could Have Been The Best

Eskimo Press: "When I first read that EA were not going to be releasing FIFA 14 on the Nintendo Wii U I didn't really care. I've always played the FIFA series on my PlayStation video-game console. However, recently I was gifted with a Nintendo Wii U and, naturally, the first thing I did was check the eShop to try some demos. I quickly spotted FIFA 13 and downloaded it; very eager to see how this Nintendo Gamepad ultimately changes the game."

assuming the Wii U sales start to take off this fall/holiday season now that we are starting to see the heavy hitters start trickling in, I wouldn't be surprised to see a FIFA 15 version show up next year.

EA may have abandoned Nintendo for now, but I guarantee you they will be back if the Wii U starts moving units.

I agree but EA should not of expected massive sales of there games on the WiiU anyway as they were released before the WiiU hit the market and games like fifa are not what people buy new consoles for. I think they should update the Squads to say think you to the people who picked up fifa on the Wiiu though as it cant take much time to do this and this is what 2K did with there last 360 and PS3 NHL games.

I picked up fifa 13 on the Wiiu as I am selling my PS3 and 360 due to getting a one in November and wanted a football game to play when friends and family come round and even though it is missing some things the PS3 and 360 versions had its is not a bad games and it looks better then them as well.

Im sure the WiiU sales will be a lot better come the end of this year and the start of next year because games like Pikmin 3, Wonderful101, Mario3D, DK, Sonic and WiiU fit all before the end of the year should pickup good sales and then early next year we have Mario Kart and Super Smash Bros which again will boots the WiiU sales.

Not really , not at all even . There are more powerful machines on the direct horizon , and everything the wiiu pad proposes is possible and more (dont forget it's not even multitouch) with a console+tablet combo

since when has Multi-touch been useful for a smartphone or tablet game? Oh right, when you needed a virtual joystick and buttons on the screen. The Gamepad has physical buttons and sticks, thus removing 99% need for multi-touch.

What do you use your multi-touch for in games? Pinch-zooming on a map? Exciting stuff.

Like hell i'd know . I dont care at all for mobile/tablet gaming , as my post history will shows . I'm just saying that regular tablet can do the same things and more than a wiiu pad , on the touch side .
