During last week’s European Nintendo Direct, Satoru Shibata focussed attention on eighteen new indie titles heading to the Wii U from European developers over the coming months. Pure Chess was just one of these titles, which has previously received a warm welcome on PSN. Nintendo Enthusiast decided to ask Mark Williams, Technology Director at Voofoo studios, some questions to find out more about this game.
James writes - "When family and friends come round, the drinks are flowing and the chat grows tiresome, it’s usually time to venture to the board game cupboard. Half the time is spent setting it up and packing it away, but there’s an even easier way to enjoy the world of board games at the press of a button... via the Xbox One."
Neil writes "There are all manner of piece sets and board types available to choose from in Pure Chess, but from today those options have just got a load sexier."
XBA says: Does this one deliver a checkmate or should you en passant on it? Rook no further!
"Full Potential Has Not Yet Been Realized”

Quick example.. Remember when Halo 3 came out on the 360 and then years later Halo 4? There was a big leap in visuals right? Same will happen with Wii U.
Yup by this time next year wii u will be selling like hot cakes :-)
Yeah, we know. No console is ever truly "tapped out". Especially not this early into it's lifecycle.
I don't know why developers even bother saying things like this. It's just as annoying as the developers who claim they're somehow using 100% of a next gen console's potential before it's even been released and before they've actually learned how to properly program for it.
