Playstation 4 release date for Saudi Arabia and Middle East Dec. 15?

The Playstation 4 is probably the first system in the Arab region to receive the "pre-order" treatment. All across the GCC countries, gamers in Bahrain, Saudi Arabia, and UAE can now officially pre-order Sony's next gen console. As such leaks are abound especially when it comes to release dates.

If it's Dec 15 for Saudi Arabia & Kuwait ( Where I Live ), it has to be sometime in November for US & UK.

SONY KSA hasn't announced anything about PS4 pre-orders and im a bit disappointed as I want to pre-order asap, I also want them to bring the BF4 bundle which is the most game im excited about.

Am I the only one that thinks there is something suspicious that Gamestop in the US is offering Next-Gen game upgrades on certain games that come out just before the Xbox One releases for $10 but they are not doing the same for PS3 to PS4 for the same games. Why? Is the PS4 coming out before those games release that it is not necessary? or am I just dreaming?

As you said "Games" however consoles we wont get it first this time -.- And im pretty sure it will cost us 1100-1300 $ -.- as a official SONY retailer has told me. He told me once they open pre orders we must pay 500 Riyals to secure our order and then pay 2000 riyals when the console releases meaning it will cost 2500 SR . Do you remember PS3 when it first released in the middle east? U.A.E and KSA 4000-7000 Riyals/dirhams!

Don't worry , time have changed. It's easier to get the ps4 now. Anyone can pre order it easily a lone which don't take as much money as the stores. Yes, it will be a little more expensive in release date in stores but after few months you will see it in it's normal price because the demand won't be that huge and you will see ps4 in every store. When the ps3 released we didn't get games early so this tells you we may get even before the rest of the world this time lol

gulf countries are all safe and quite even Bahrain where the problems are political but the nation is still secure.

even with all the hot air with Iran they still have big business ties with every gulf country other than Saudi Arabia.

as for currency as far as I know all gulf countries are tied to the Dollar, they rise with it and fall with it.

I dare you to come bahrain at 14 August , Maybe , i'm real bahraini so i don't know how non bahraini live but maybe it's safe for them but it's hell to the real citizens . Political problems came from unjust from all kind of sides and insecure life for talking about it. Even if you are not bahraini you will suffer if you are near any bahraini village because most of them protest and they get at least tear gased(poison) every single day with huge amount of them so not only protesters suffer. You come and try that poison and tell me it's safe to live there . People died because of it..
