Dragon Quest has been a founding father to the RPG franchise. Along with its brethren Final Fantasy and others, they all have one major thing in common: Square Enix. The teams over at this mega corporation are about to launch two massive MMOs around the same time.

What? Dragon Quest X launched last year. FFXIV is going to relaunch in a few weeks. That's hardly "around" the same time. Especially considering that two entirely separate teams are working on both of them.
You remember they already Launched FF14 like a year or two ago right ?
It bombed, they lost hundreds of millions, spent more hundreds of millions to re-do it, and also in the mean time decided let's possibly make the same mistake, but with our other great Franchise, Dragon Quest.
Dragon Quest 9 was awesome.
All they had to do was:
* Release Dragon Quest 10, as a single player experience, for the Wii U.
* Release Dragon Quest 11 for the 3DS.
We can't even play a lesser MMO version of DQ even if we wanted to.
It's like nobody there recognizes the piles of gold sitting in front of them, as gold.
