The Wonderful 101: One wonderful reason to own a Wii U

Platinum Games is bringing Wii U owners a new exclusive with The Wonderful 101, and it looks wonderful.

News flash to the uninformed, it's by the same Dev studio who have done Metal Gear Rising, Bayonetta, and Mad World (Wii). To think Kamiya would suddenly make a terrible combat system and poor action sequences is absurd

The game is also supposed to be fairly difficult. If you watch the end of the Nintendo Direct for the game from a day ago you will see the game is much more epic than any of us may have assumed.

yeah SSB, Mario Kart and Mario 3d world are going to be tons of fun but you don't buy a system for one game you buy it for it's line up.

Somehow, you are assuming that WiiU is the only console he owns. There are other games in other consoles that maybe we are still pending to play and it is higher on the list that this game.

I just played the demo of this game and it was real fun. Very chaotic, but very fun. I probably won't pick it up at launch because I'll be in school, but I will pick it up over Christmas break most likely.

Not sure if this has been mentioned or not but if you draw a triangle, you transform into a para-glider. Haven't found much use for it yet but i'm just wondering what else is accessible in the demo. Anyone found anything secret-ish?

At the Beginning of the demo draw a straight line into the open window to the right of the school building to find one of the secret action figures.

The demo is awesome! I just pre ordered it today at my local Gamestop. CAN'T WAIT! On my 3rd play through of the demo hunting for secrets and other hidden Super Hero's.

I never even knew there were secret action figures! Guess they live up to the name then. Also, the part where you are on top of the tall building where you have to cut the chains to drop sheet metal, which covers the fire and lets the civilians free. There are others on the other side of the building..how the deuce do you get to them? :P

I started losing interest in the game until recently. The depth of the combat is surprising and if the demo is anything to go by then i think it's going to be a real gem of a game.

The most adult game Nintendo systems ever had was BMX XXX on Gamecube. They were much more keen on allowing adult games back in the NES days but other than that they don't compare to the graphic nature of games that have been on Playstation or Microsoft systems.

for ex: NONE of the games you mentioned here contain more UNIQUE and INVENTIVE gore than MadWorld for the wii, not even God Of War compares to the Adult content in Madworld. Nothing you will ever show me has more creative Adult language and nothing you will ever show me will out do the gore style in Madworld black and white with RED < nothing

not to mention ConkerS Bad Fur day for the N64 this game has players actually bounce on some tig o'll bitties just to reach a stash of cash . . lol manhunt is a game that me and you could have invented = no brain work just typical easy to make ideas with these normal games . .

as i said Not sony nor Microsoft have more Adult content than nintendo, i did not mean more adult exclusives .

Played the demo. Loved it!!!! The battle system was impressive. I can not wait for complete version! I am a fanboy of great games on all systems but I am excited about announced line up and unannounced games for my Wii U!

This game has absolutely blown my mind! I just cant get over howsublime and generally fun the game feels! Theyve put a TON of polish on this thing, and that trailer shows that the delay was well worth it.

Unlike haters who have never played the U, I have been really enjoying mine. I bounce between the U and my ps3 and see the awesome potential of the Wii U firsthand. I am not that surprised that this game is turning out so awesome! Its Nintendo and Platinum with a BRAND NEW IP that everyone keeps bithcing about Nintendo NOT having.

Yes, this is going to be a great, ORIGINAL IP FOR THE WII U!!, yeah this is a very cool and different game. I cannot wait to play it!! Platinum is really making some of the best titles for nintendo, unlike some companies, it's nice to see platinum have faith and make games like Bayonetta 2 and wonderful 101 just for wii u! cannot not wait to see what else they have cooked up for the wii u... STARFOX MAYBE?? ohhh i sure would love that!!
