Ridge Racer Driftopia is a free-2-drift, their words not mine, multiplayer racing game. Its being developed by Ridge Racer Unbounded’s Bugbear Entertainment.
Namco have released the following stement regarding Ridge Racer Driftopia.
VVV: "Its life was ultimately shortlived, however: after an extended closed beta on PC and PS3 since September 2013, Namco has applied the brakes on the project, announcing that the servers will be shut down by August 15th. "
We are in need of a proper Ridge Racer... I must admit, I really enjoyed Unbounded.
I could accept this ridge racer if it was less destructive! all that tearing through
buildings and blowing stuff up, not my cup of tea.
Bring the original game back namco, i dying to play another ridge racer!
