Review: 'Halo: Spartan Assault' | Neowin.net

Neowin: "Microsoft's 'Halo: Spartan Assault' for Windows RT, Windows 8 and Windows Phone 8 marks the first original entry in the franchise not to be released on consoles, but is it worthy of its name?"

They gave it 8.5 ?

The best grade so far. This game has been getting mediocre grades from major gaming websites.

But I will still get it.

It deserves high scores I got it on my Surface RT and it is a very good tablet game but one that also hits with the halo fans. MS need to start getting more games out like this for Windows 8 and Windows Phone as it will give people a reason to pickup there devices just a shame you have to buy it again on the other platform if you want the game on phone and Windows device.

From the way troops behave, to the weapons and locations, it feels like an authentic Halo experience, even though it's a top-down dual stick shooter, rather than a FPS, and that’s the best thing Spartan Strike has going for it.
