With the summer slowly coming to an end and kids everywhere heading back to school, video games releases are finally starting to heat up again. August is the rare month where we will be treated to an absurd amount of new releases that are destined to keep every type of gamer busy for quite awhile. The following list highlights 20 games coming out this month along with videos and links for more info on each game. Without further ado, here are the Best Games of 2013 for the month of August.

For more than 10 years, he has been tuning the success of the incredible comeback of FinalFantasy XIVwith increasingly better expansions such as Heavensward, Stormblood, Shadowbringers and Endwalker. Dawntrail is out in two weeks, and it's shaping up to be a holiday for the Warriors of Light, but it's clear that there's definitely a lot more at stake.

I hope this is true, that's what I want from a remake. FF7R is actually really good, but not what I was looking for from the remake.
FF7R deviated too much from the original for me, so I hope the FF9 remake is closer to the original game.
I didn't think so, I actually really liked the way they fleshed out the story more. I enjoyed it more than the original.
I can't wait for it to be revealed and I am hoping it will not be episodic or simply a remaster.
Yes make one complete game with AAA game development taking 3-5 years for each game if it's another trilogy than we will be waiting a decade plua just for the complete edition

You’re dreaming if you think these old pre-rendered background FF games can be remade in a fully 3D open world in 3-5 years with all the mini games.
I hope they keep the original art style instead of going for the hyperrealistic look like they did with FF7R, it would ruin the charm of the game otherwise.

Pisses me off how badly they screwed over ff8. That game deserves a proper remake. It was the first fully 3d final fantasy game.
FFVIII is not fully 3d, and in what way do you mean it was before FFVII in the "3d verse"?
First "fully" 3d Final Fantasy was FFXI, even thou FFX was close.
FFVII to FFX uses pre rendered backgrounds (still images). In FFVII - FFIX, only worldmap was fully "3d".
EA has revealed the Madden NFL 25 new gameplay features incoming for the PS5, Xbox Series and PC versions, as the closed beta kicks off today.
Though i agree the truth is that it always sells well and then millions are made in ultimate team.

There was a CFL game to be tossed out crashed and burned but there is other football games just none are official nfl stuff.
NFL gamers need to boycott which is very easy with the social media age we live in until than no. EA has a monopoly you want a better product to end the monopoly. get on twitter trending daily to the NFL.
Man I quit playing madden back in 2004 that was my boycott because I just got tired of the same thing, updated rosters. My boys still play Madden I'll pick up the sticks every now and then when I'm chilling at their houses but at my house, EA gets none of my money for Madden.
Can't wait for Splinter Cell: Blacklist, Dragon's Crown, and Tales of Xillia.
I forgot to add that the last piece of Dishonored DLC is also coming out on August 13th.
