Deus Ex: Human Revolution Director’s Cut for Wii U $20 Higher than Other Consoles

Now this could be a mistake, like the Rayman Legends listings. But for now, Deus Ex Human Revolution Director’s Cut on Wii U is $49.99, $20 higher than the PS3 and Xbox 360 versions.

Square Enix probably needs the money.

If Square Enix "needs the money" wouldn't they charge more for the 360/PS3 versions because they have a larger install base than the WiiU and therefore sell more copies at a higher price tag :/

OT: I actually think this is just a retailers error

Seems pretty ridiculous, if it's correct. The only remotely plausible excuse is that the Wii U doesn't have the original Deus Ex HR, in which case its blatant highway robbery for Wii U owners. The Wii U version (as far as I know) doesn't have any additional content, since the tablet features are also being made for Vita and Smartglass.

If it's true, then "Wii U games not profitable" will be a self-fulfilling prophecy...

Actually square enix stated that the wii u version will be the best version and will look the best out of all of them and it will be easier to use the touch screen features since the wii u has a touchscreen built in the controller you dont need to buy a tablet or seperate machine. No disrespect to anyone, this coming from a ps3 and wii u owner. Edit: This is probably a mistake anyway.

Seems appropriate after all the Wii U version has more content ;)

Only trolls would defend this stupid decision. They are the same package across all platforms.

Gee, I wonder why the Wii U version isn't selling. How 'bout I blame it on the install base. It can't possibly be the price difference. That would be too logical.
