Petabyte Optical Media, Due to Arrive in 5 Years - 'similar to Blu-Ray media on steroids'

Researchers at the University of Technology's Centre for Micro-Photonics are currently developing a new type of optical media that promises to deliver huge storage capacities, ranging to a full petabyte. The disk will be able to host the equivalent of as many as 200,000 DVDs and will revolutionize the storage and media industries.

In order to achieve the new medium, researchers are using
nanoscopic particles that can exponentially increase the amount of data stored on a single disc.

and put all my dvd's on it and the petabyte when from 10,000,000,000,000,000 pb to 10,000,000,009,999. I have about 700+ movies O.o j/k this stuff will only work if their are companies out there to support them.
