PS4 and PC free-to-play shooter may yet appear on Microsoft's next gen console, given a change in publishing policies.
Right before the full reveal of Warframe 1999 at TennoCon, we chatted with Ben Starr about the responsibility of stepping into such a huge franchise.
Soulframe, the fantasy counterpart to Digital Extremes' Warframe, is shaping up to be something truly special in an otherwise crowded market.
MonsterVine: "During Tennocon 2024, MonsterVine got a hands-off demo of Digital Extremes’ latest expansion for Warframe—Warframe: 1999."
What with this, Titanfall, Destiny, etc, I'm kind of feeling a bit science-fictioned out now. Never thought I'd say it, but I yearn for the days of the WW2 shooter.
As a f2p title, it makes sense. Microsoft and their policies tryed to screwdriver gamers and developers. The did a 180 for gamers, will they do the same for developers?
It's coming to XBoxOne. My friend works there and the talks are very much taking place to make it happen.
EDIT***
Anyone who disagrees care to explain why?
Well I'm pretty sure that Warframe devs will not object if MS approaches them and ask for xbone port... After all they're not owned by any console manufacturers, unless Sony and WF devs have made exclusive deal for this game.
Lol, xbox bro's drooling for WF. It may port over but I love to see the bro's put their crayons down to drool in their helmets over PS4 games they want lmao.
