What with this, Titanfall, Destiny, etc, I'm kind of feeling a bit science-fictioned out now. Never thought I'd say it, but I yearn for the days of the WW2 shooter.

Someone should make caveman warfare game, where you only have clubs and rocks and stuff, and your in like a really thick forest, trying to expand your village size and you could trade and war with other villages.

Lionhead was working on such game back in the day. It was called B.C and was supposed to come out on original XBOX. I was soo loking forward to it, it looked amazing for it's time!. Got cancelled later on , but beta was still shown. Look it up!

Already got TitanFall and Destiny on Xbox One. I wouldnt cry if Warframe never came to the Xbox. Dont need every shooter out there, a couple of quality ones will suffice. Especially that Halo 5 will be coming in 2014.

You sir, echo my thoughts the last two years. Now is the time I figure. With the power of the PS4 and Xbox One a new WWII game could really bring FPS to a whole new level. I remember when I was 11 and played CoD 2 on an Xbox 360 demo station. Never had I ever seen such a glorious sight (me being a huge history buff and owning a Gamecube last gen).

I can only imagine reliving that moment again. Sometimes the best stories to tell are the ones routed in reality. Not to mention the CoD 4 era to today has spawned way too many "me-too" Modern shooters.

Even if it does come to the XBOX One with the way Microsoft handles FTP games the game will never be a FTP title since it will require a gold subscription.

Sony on the other hand doesnt require a Playstation plus subscription to play FTP games.

that's a point well brought up by you. I guess it won't be "Free" if you have to have an XBL Gold membership..I really don't know how those details are going to work out. I'll have to ask my friend to see if he has any details but I won't bother presenting them since I have boobs as my avatar and I'm just 3rd party information so I clearly can't have any insider information from a company my best friend works at.

You comment about Sony though is valid. What does happen in that respect? what if devs like say, Rovio as an example, decide they don't want it on the inside of PSN?

For your last part, it is likely that the devs will bank on having just the PS+ paid members supporting their game if inside of the paywall. Most FTP's have already gone on record as being outside of the paywall on PS4. But, there will probably be a couple later on that decide otherwise. I guess it's still about options...which is a good thing. Let them be comfortable wherever they decide to be.

Well I'm pretty sure that Warframe devs will not object if MS approaches them and ask for xbone port... After all they're not owned by any console manufacturers, unless Sony and WF devs have made exclusive deal for this game.

And I pray they stay with M$, but I'm smart enough to know that the number of people jumping ship to PS4 will include then too unfortunately.

1 game worth playing Warframe, not very impresssive list. Plus I remain sceptical on how glitchy this will be using different hardware. Also, I wouldnt want to play on my controller vs proficient mouse/keyboard users. They have too much of an advantage.

If console and pc find a way to place nice kudos, but Im gunna remain very sceptical about that working flawlessly.

They need to FIX WARFRAME before making a console version.

The game has potential but is just barely OK right now!

The new trend seems to be to half ass make a PC F2p game and instead of fixing it, rush out a console port.

Now what happens is PC gamers no longer support the game and consolers will not buy the game either so hte pub/dev ends up taking a LOSS.

FIX warframe PC first then worry about a port cuase right now Warframe is not worth a PC Gamer or Consolers time or money.
