"Dungeon Dashers is an up and coming dungeon crawler game from Jigxor. It’s described as a fast-paced turn-based dungeon crawler, which may sound incredibly contradictory, but it is also very true. In this preview we were using an early build of the game (Build 277) so things touched in here may change later in development." - Capsule Computers
The Black Panel writes: One great thing about the indie scene is the prominence of games that never try to be what they aren’t. Instead of opting for mass-market appeal, small (and sometimes solo) teams will make a title that appeals to a specific type of gamer and never deviates from it. Dungeon Dashers is one such game.
Claudia writes "Ah, the top-down RPG. There was nothing quite like playing an original Final Fantasy or Legend of Zelda for the first time and realizing that the world was so much bigger than anything you’d ever played before. Of course, this experience was had many years ago, and we’re now used to games on a different scale. In spite of that, some games using the old top-down formula do manage to stand their ground. Jigxor’s Dungeon Dashers brings back the top-down RPG on Steam with relative success."
From Strategyinformer.com: "Dungeon Dashers is a 2D top-down turn-based dungeon crawler from Australian indie-developer Jigxor. The game features a pre-set party made up of four different classes, a simplistic story, tactical combat, and basic puzzle solving. The graphics appear charming and the premise has potential even if it is similar to things we’ve seen before. Nevertheless, as always the most important question is: ‘How fun is it to play?’ "
looks like an awesome game!
