Rare ‘Xenoblade Chronicles’ Game Selling For Over $100

Remember how Xenoblade Chronicles for the Wii is only exclusive to Gamestop in North America? Apparently, if you managed to get a copy, you have an option to sell it at a ridiculous price.

A friend told me about Xenoblade when I got my WiiU. Tried looking for it, cheapest I could find was one listing on ebay for $70. Nabbed it, and all the other ones I see are around $100 or more

I can't bring myself to open and play my copy because it will no longer be collectible after opening it. It's tough to be both a gamer and collector. Tough choices have to be made. =(

only casuals put a cheap price on the good games. ff before ff7 sold over $150 sf2 on the snes was $70 brand new... that was back when games where games and gamers played games rather than movies and bickered over power like that was the point of console gaming.

I bought 3 copies at launch. Kept 2 sealed and opened and loved one. Glad I did! For rare game hunters anything that is a GS exclusive is always going to be limited quantities since they only way they secure the exclusive is to purchase every copy. Keep an eye on the new Pokemon game that uses the little figures coming next month.

Lol someone is selling it sealed for $249.99 unless you are collector.. You have be dumb as hell to buy that or just stupid rich. It is good game but it isn't worth what people are selling it for.

That is almost the cost of a new console.

Funny thing is I can buy a couple off of craigslist right now for $50.. Almost feel like buying them all just to sell them to the suckers who are over paying for them.

Some people just aren't as resourceful I suppose. I haven't used eBay in a long time because of stuff like this, eBay used to be awesome. For the most part its turned to shit now and people over price everything.

I had to buy this for like $86 on eBay shortly after it was released in Europe, not to mention that I also had to softmod my Wii in order to play it... Was it worth it? You betcha!

and i hope Nintendo of Europe localise it, i really liked the English voice work they did for Xenoblade.

Nintendo needs to get better at releasing more of their games in all regions.

people dont want new game prices. some gamers want it but are too cheap or truly want to not believe it is good or better yet they are angry sheep. if they would have gotten the game instead of listening to all the hate Nintendo would have released more copies. it sold ok and now that the unwarrented hate has died down people realize its a great game yet are still on the nintendo is not worth it bandwagon.

i managed to get a uk version for 30 pounds and it was a big box version with a red xontroler. another good rpg i have uk is skies of acadia gamecube. tjats worth keeping hold off

I have 2 copies of Xenoblade Chronicles, The Last Story, and Pandora's Tower. One that I opened and play and one that I put away in a small fire proof safe with a few other rare games that I have hung onto over the years. Have a complete, but opened, copy of Earthbound sitting in there too. :o)

I bought this game recently for $40 bucks in a mom and pops store as great as the game is I would not pay $100 bucks for this game.
