Man I really need to get back to the other two DLC's, too many games when you play on multi systems.

XCLANN4350d ago

I know the feeling never get time to play a game long enough before the next one

Excalibur4350d ago (Edited 4350d ago )

Yep, Bioshock pulled me away from it and then The Last Of Us pulled me away from Bioshock, I was making my hardcore run on that and got pulled back into Borderlands 2 with the Tiny Tina DLC, a vicious circle I tell ya. LOL

XCLANN4350d ago

Lately I have been dragged into terrible game after terrible game, it's like the developers are just throwing stuff out the door and preparing for the next gen. I can't wait now for Saint Row IV ans Splinter Cell Blacklist as have played both and they are stand up games.

Still waiting for the GOTY edition for this game I've heard very good things :)

XCLANN4350d ago

It's a great game, well worth getting and good idea waiting for the GOTY edition.

Just to help temper your expectations... don't expect a long game (7-15 hours depending on playstyle) with a fleshed out plotline and characters. The ending is also very anti-climactic.

However, expect a great game that gives you a lot of inventive ways to complete objectives, cool powers and weapons, open areas that encourage you to explore, choices and side-missions that affect you later on, a compelling setting with lots of lore to digest, and a great journey. It is a very good game and a kind we don't see enough of these days.

One of my biggest art heroes. His work and vision were truly one of a kind, and he’s been a huge inspiration to my own work. Such a heartbreaking loss.

Remember seeing Dishonored for the first time when it released, fell in love with the art style straight away, so striking! And because of it, still holds up and will for years to come, RIP Viktor

JEECE116d ago

Yep I remember seeing some of the earliest concept art for Dishonored and hearing that the art director of Half-Life 2 was working on it and being excited.

And you are absolutely right, each of those games (HL2 and Dishonored) has a distinct art style that stands the test of time.

Relientk77116d ago

So sad to hear this. I absolutely love the Dishonored series and love the world and art style. It looks great and unique. I'm still hoping for a Dishonored 3

rokos116d ago

RIP Viktor love your work

Ethereal116d ago

Damn... Dishonored has such amazing art. RIP.

Arkane Co-Founder Says Dishonored and Prey Fans 'Will Be Happy' With His Next Game

WolfEye Studios president and co-founder of Arkane Studios Raphaël Colantonio has said Dishonored and Prey fans “will be happy” with his new studio's next game.

Marcus Fenix309d ago

Can’t wait to see what they’re working on

Relientk77309d ago

If it's something like Dishonored, then I am totally here for it.

TheNamelessOne309d ago

Let's hope. Their first game, Weird West, really wasn't my thing.

Miacosa309d ago

Ouch, already placing a sales cap on this is potentially bad as these games never seem to sell all too well. Hopefully the budget is in check so no one gets laid off after launch.

Psychonaut85309d ago

Fuck yeah. Even if it’s just a spiritual successor I want more titles like Dishonored in terms of art style, design and gameplay

Avowed's director says they "don't believe in living in fear" after Microsoft closed studios

"As a developer - and as a player - it's always sad and it always sucks to see studios close and devs lose their jobs. I really hope all those people land on their feet, because I know our indusutry is better with them in it," Patel tells the outlet. "As for me and how I look at things, I guess first and foremost: I don't believe in living in fear," the Avowed director.

XiNatsuDragnel367d ago

Skuletor367d ago

It was probably already decided yesterday

BISHOP-BRASIL367d ago

Elda367d ago

They better worry because Avowed doesn't look all that.
