Dust: An Elysian Tail, picks up and age old formula of side scrolling hack and slash and makes it into art. The game is a show of love and hardship of one man: Dean Dodrill who worked on the game all by himself for four years to give birth to this modern master-piece. The game was released back in August 2012 on XBLA and is finally now available on PC too. PC gamers should lay any fears they have for porting that game is a very well done port with full keyboard-mouse support and visuals are high-def as compared to Xbox version and everything works without any bugs.

Hollow Knight was a masterpiece. I cared less for the arena combat (Gods, not in the in-game arena) but everything was tight and the exploration was extremely enjoyable. Absolute masters of their craft in level design. I hope Silk Song gives the bees a second chance since their area was only a short subsection.
