Videogamer: The House of the Dead 2 & 3 Review

Videogamer writes: "It seems that everyone I speak to these days loves the Dreamcast. In fact, so many people seem to own one that it's hard to understand how the system failed, especially considering its steady supply of near-arcade-perfect arcade games. House of the Dead 2 was phenomenal at the time of release and goes down as one of the system's highlights. The lightgun game hasn't has the best of times since then though, with the Wii now seen as the system that could bring the arcade favourite back into our homes.

House of the Dead 2 & 3 - The Return features the classic Dreamcast and Arcade game House of the Dead 2 and the not quite as classic Xbox and Arcade game House of the Dead 3. Let's get one thing straight: House of the Dead 3 isn't nearly as great as the second game. Even though HoTD3 features far more technically impressive visuals it just doesn't feel as good as 2. There's just something about the challenge 2 offers and the stylised angular visuals that give it the edge."

Top 10 Hilariously Bad Video Game Dubs

GameDynamo - "It took video games much longer to develop decent voice acting than it did to develop voice acting in the first place. This was especially true for translated Japanese games, as many of the game companies were completely unprepared at matching lip flaps and matching the language to an English sentence structure and cultural context. lmao oooooh dante.

I think that was also a problem with the writing, because that Line is far too long to deliver with emotion and emphasis at the end......

try repeating it....

"I should have been the one to fill your dark soul with Liiiiiiiiiiight!"

its just not written to be yelled, it should have been spoken softly.

and WHY the hell does Elmer Fudd voice the roll of Megamans creator lmao!

these voices were terrible but in a good memorable way.. I didnt think MMX4 was toooo bad.. MMs voice sucks in every game hes in cuz he sounds like a lil girl.. But Zeros was fine.. Castlevania was terribly awesome.. Starfox too.. For the most part, it was capcom & segas cheap a$$e$ hiring family members or street bums to save money, instead of paying for quality work lol
