Clearly she's underage *Sigh*

Xof3942d ago

"She" is an illustrated representation of an artificial being that only exists digitally, and therefore has no age.

And there's nothing to indicate Miku's age in her appearance, so clearly you're spewing something out of your ass for some reason I simply cannot fathom. What, did you want to have sex with that illustrated representation of an artificial being that only exists digitally, and now your penis is flaccid because of some perceived ethical barrier?

Yuck.

What does the nonexistent age of a female-modeled PROGRAM have to do with ANYTHING?

tiffac0083942d ago

But your avatar seems to be underage too and this is a musical game. lol!

SeraphimBlade3942d ago

It's a music game, actually. Based on vocaloids, which I do not have room to explain here. There's a demo for the first Diva F on PS3, and the full game is due out in the states next month. And no, it doesn't use a peripheral or anything like rock band or ddr.

Xof3942d ago

Vocaloids are essentially voice templates, designed to mimic the sound of human voice.

The Project Diva games are rhythym games based on the Vocaloid voice synthesis software, which allows for the purely digital composition of song music (in Japanese--this works because unlike, say, English, Japanese is a phonetic language).

The games feature music composed by, well, anyone--random gamers, professional musicians and bands, etc. Because they use the Vocaloid synthesis software, the Diva games can do more with the music than any other rhythm games--if you miss a button press, for example, the Diva simply will not sing that note--and if your timing is off, the note will be off key. This means that, unlike every other music-based rhythm game on the market, the sound you hear will always reflect how well you are playing the game.

Couple that with the fact that, because so many different sources contribute music, the songs are very varied from one another, you have a game series that is -undisputed- as the absolute best.

For more info on the revolutionary Vocaloid software, check the wiki page:

With the first game finally being localized i hope the success of it will make it a better chance that this new game will make it over as well.

Hopefully this time the Vita version will be localized as well. Super fun game with addictive gameplay...although extreme can be frustratingly stressful.

Indeed! I can't even finish one extreme song! I can barely make excellent on hard. T_T
I really suck at rhythm games, but that doesn't mean I must hate it. In fact, I love rhythm games. XD

Sega sells Relic and will cut 240 jobs across UK studios

GamesIndustry.biz writes: "Relic is best known for the Company of Heroes and Dawn of War games, and recently developed the new Age of Empires for Microsoft. Relic will transition to an independent studio and will no-longer be part of the Sega group of studios.

The majority of the 240 job cuts are across Creative Assembly and Sega Europe, while there will be a ‘small number’ cut from Sega HARDLight. There was no mention of other Sega UK studios, including Two Point Studios and Sports Interactive."

Shame about Creative Assembly, they should have just been allowed to do an Alien Isolation sequel.

just_looken27d ago

It was that garbage coh 3 that did them in only a special team can make a sequel worse in every way even though it was a 10 year gap and the same era.

gold_drake27d ago

I hope they find new jobs in the industry soon.

Two Point Studios and Sports Interactive probably run on a shoe string budget so that fits into SEGA better lol

SEGA’s Switch Predecessor: What Happened to the Nomad?
