Some would have you believe that the days of the SNES and Mega Drive were superior, but honestly, in terms of choice and above all, quality, this generation is pretty hard to beat. There has of course been a ton of shovelware (thanks largely to the Wii), but with so many AAA titles on the shelves, this really shouldn’t bother the majority of gamers.
17 years later, it still stands out.
The game was indeed amazing. Great characters, gameplay and story!
But the dream sequences penned by Shigematsu were sublime.
I still remember many of these stories and I have integrated in the past in my D&D campaign many years ago.
Microsoft should have just kept pumping money into these guys. Same with a lot of the other studios... the blundered hard.
Lost Odysee deserved a franchise even though development wasn't smooth
It's not like it has had any competition since 2007. Would really like to own the short stories from it in book form.
The problem with most MS games on 360 was they didn’t make the games they paid for them and that makes you less money in the long run and isn’t something you can continue to do especially with declining sales of consoles. MS should have been starting and growing studios from the beginning but they went for paid games and it leaves them without the knowledge and culture of making games.
With the release of The Lost Crown this week, let's take a look at every Prince of Persia game released since the series debuted.

Resistance 2 co-op was amazing! I wish they would remaster resistance 1-3 and killzone 1-3 for the PS5.
Let me save you the time to scroll down no Warhawk or Starhawk, 2 of the best co-op games on PS3
I absolutly love pop2008,one of my favorite games of all time,it really does deserve a sequel, but no what we pop fans get instead is forgotten sands which was a glitchy, soulless mess, and a FRIGGIN mobile game.
How can Lost Odyssey be a marmite game, it's fantastic.
It's basically the true FF13 game this gen
It was a good generation.
My only let down this gen were the sports genre. Too many exclusive contracts limiting competition which in turn stifled any kind of advancement.
Kane and Lynch 2 was absolutely superb for me. I loved how the "plot" was essentially pointless, but in a good way. It was just a slice of life for these two characters. And the ending was plain brilliant.
