Triverse writes, "Hidden Object games are all about the graphics (how well do the objects you are searching for fit into the scene?) and the storyline (if the storyline sucks, generally so will the game). If either one is “off” the whole game comes off as second rate. Shards of Time is a glowing example of how to do these games right."
Triverse writes, "G5 Entertainment are no strangers to the casual gaming market and with Shards of Time, they have another interesting hidden object title to add to their long list of games on Android and iOS platforms. Shards of Time pits the player against time and various other enemies in their search for the Amulet of Time (an artifact that gives the holder ultimate protection)."
