Muramasa Rebirth (PS Vita) - Review on Popzara

Slick, gorgeous, and fast-paced; eschews the Wii's clumsy controls to create a more engaging action/adventure game than before, especially for Vanillaware fans.

Calling all Vita owners, this game was amazing on Wii. Go get it. You will absolutely not regret it.

I never got the chance to play it on the Wii. I'd never even heard about it until way later. (A few months before this version was announced.) So yes, I will definitely be picking it up for my Vita. :]

Great to hear! When I get a Vita, I'll probably get this after my big five games are listed. May pick it up before the handheld since I really want to support the developer. Hope you enjoy it. :)

yes.. this game looks AMAZING . but plays meh . . . this game in reality is 7.9 out of 10

You either have dookie taste in video games or don't know how to play the game.

The game is a straight 10/10 at worst 9/10.

I bought this day 1 on the vita and had it on the Wii as well, it's a total winner and a must have if your game tastes venture outside of FPS-dom.

for sure this game is not a perfect score, and for sure it is not a 9 . . . .at least not on wii . .
maybe the vita version has never before seen game-CHANGING gameplay mechanics that deem the game a perfect score ?

it seems to me like the person who rated this game feels affected by vitas lack of GREAT games that they have to make up undeserving scores just to fool people into thinking the vita is like a Nintendo 3DS, GREATNESS!!

stop it .. .

@ BullymangLer

I agree that the game isn't a perfect score or even a 9, but scores aren't the deciding factor in whither or not you buy / play something. They're just an indicator of how well rounded the game actually is. In any case, I still think all Vita users should play this game.

As far as gameplay goes, I think you're a bit mistaken. When it comes to games like this we tend to see people seeing the simple mechanics and assuming that is all there is to it. However, the game is fairly deep if you bother to play through it or attempt Death Mania (Fury) mode.

BullyMangler1931d ago

my point is that this person just gave this game a perfect score lol . . .

scores dont mean what they used to anymore . .back then when a game got a perfect score or a really high score it was because the game introduced something so addictingly NEW never before seen . . now u got generics recieving scores like these here . .

compared to bayonetta or viewtiful joe, Maramusa is what . .thats right . . second string . .perfect score the art yes . but the wole game? ha . . this goes for The Last of Us, call of duty, and pretty much every rockstar game . .

just wait for GTA 5 to get perfect scores to watch haaaa!!!

I've been having a blast so far playing this game, also mapping either R or L to dodge is a must imo.

Bought this game and already received it from Amazon. Got the limited edition version. Waiting for my apartment super to show up as she is the one that holds packages. -_-
