1UP Previews: Gran Turismo 5: Prologue

1UP writes: "Gran Turismo creator and infamous car nut Kazunori Yamauchi has one weakness -- his love of cars often makes his games feel least to him. When we interviewed him in Electronic Gaming Monthly before the launch of Gran Turismo 3 (2001), he was scouring the floor of the Detroit Auto Show, taking dozens of photographs and scouting for more vehicles to cram into the game, despite its impending release. Many Gran Turismo titles have suffered mysterious delays, and we suspect they were almost always in order to get at least one more car in there.

Even back in 2001, one of the Gran Turismo's ultimate goals was to become more than a game; it aimed to be an encyclopedia of cars. And Gran Turismo 5: Prologue seems to give the first hint of the series' sheer potential."

The story is too old to be commented.
