On the subject of the PS4 and how it helps to build upon the AI and graphics seen with Killzone 3 on PS3, ter Heide talked about how the new system “allows us to create richer experiences” and “the PlayStation 4 allows us to add more things and take them a step further.” - PSLS

The graphics look great, but what I'm most excited to see is how expansive the levels are. That was the thing that really impressed me about this game when I saw the E3 footage (the original footage from the February reveal wasn't impressive, IMO)

TrendyGamers1991d ago

The new stuff I've seen looks really good, especially once you get out of the city.

a bit more detail “We can, for example, invest in more realistic animations, larger scale, better visual FX and more characters, and reach a higher quality on all of them.”

Can't wait for multiplayer at Gamescom.

unchartedxplorer1991d ago

I hope it's playable as well. I also hope that they have really focused on the multiplayer this time.

Aery1991d ago

I was impressed by both the reveal :)
Anyway, I had the pleasure to take a closer look at this game and it's pretty impressive to see in real life. The gameplay looks impressive and there is a lot of freedom. Talking about freedom It's not like Crysis 1. The AI of the enemy is (as always) top notch so the combat are pretty intense and you need a good tactic and a wise use of your tech to win.
In few words, you cannot simply run and kill around the map.

this game looks to keep the Killzone reputation as the best action/gameplay in FPS..

“Shadow Fall is a shooter that requires both skills and brains.. due to it not just being about outgunning your enemy, but also outmaneuvering and outsmarting them as well”

Cryptcuzz1991d ago

From the early previews, it seems the levels are a lot more expansive this time with multiple routes and ways to finish each tasks and not just linear anymore.

lol, it's just game devs supporting their owners to protect their job. M$ devs say Xbone offers "cloud gaming and takes it a step further", these guys say "PS4's RAM and Sony takes it a step further".

Minato-Namikaze1991d ago

Difference is GG provides some of the best looking game on PS3 hardware while MS devs cant lay claim to that (as far as their games looking that impressive).

Pisque1991d ago

30 fps is far from being technically impressive in my opinion.

theDECAY1991d ago

Who care how many frames it is when it looks good and plays well?

RevXM1991d ago

I can play tetris at 50 000 000 FPS with my laptop. Impressed now?

Pisque1991d ago

Imagine if this was said by for example 343 Industries, no one would have taken it seriously, but when it's Guerilla Games and thus Sony first party, we have to prostern, listen and praise them.

It's just sick.

majiebeast1991d ago

When they show the powah of zeh clowds maybe then people would believe it till then its a bunch of PR bullshit and buzz words.

They showed Killzone:SF it looks amazing and less linear then previous killzone's.

HammadTheBeast1991d ago

There's a reason for that...

KwietStorm1991d ago

Anything else off topic you want to get off your chest?

iPad1991d ago

To NvidiaGeek:

Well which one sounds more believable?

hakesterman1991d ago

I see your point, i'll go with the Ram as having the true advantage. But with that said i will probably get an Xbone. I'm not going to pre-Order, i am going to wait and see if they price drop it, and also wait till the first wave of games also price drop before i dive in. Sony still has time to win me over, anything can happen in the next 12 months.

Sure it does, promoting is good for the game and the ps4

Cmk01211991d ago

he could be 100% right but when your a first party developer thus owned by the company any thing positive you say is marketing, and has to be taken with a grain of salt. with that said killzone has been a solid franchise
