Sounds funny coming from them when they put the worse DRMs ever in The Settlers 3 and Assassin's Creed 2 PC.

Don't Watch Dogs and AC4 have technical DRM?

MrSwankSinatra1941d ago

NO, those games can be played offline, it's preferred that you play online to get more out of the game.

They already removed their dumb DRM, now Ubisoft is becoming a really good company that cares about the customer. Ubisoft is a great company now a days. Yep their DRM used to be bad, but they changed it for the better. Hopefully MS does the same...

I think they know their horrible mistakes and they are fixing them this is good for the entire industry.

I wonder what Cliff has to say about this now that "Ubisoft" agrees with the reversal. Remember how Cliff used Assassin's Creed as an example that game costs too much to make and used games would simply put a burden on developers?

Like Cliff said, expect lots of DLC.

PirateThom1941d ago

I expect lots of DLC with or without DRM. It's a non-factor.
