Honestly? The Last of Us has blown me away as rarely before a video game. Where the term "video game" this work is almost not fair here, it's rather a strong character, intelligent and above all, great playable with enormously high voltage drama and entertainment value. Much better to get it on the current console generation is hardly out and the developers have their reputation as a premium supplier of high-caliber software clearly cemented it. Moreover, I am glad that Naughty Dog has decided against an open world game. While there are occasionally open sections that invite you to explore and discover, but I dare strongly doubt that with an open world game the same voltage and immersion could be built.
