Animal Crossing: New Leaf ~ Review | ThirtyAndNerdy

Animal Crossing: New Leaf is a delightful game about the little things in life. What starts out as a simple trip to a town of your choosing, quickly spirals into a heartwarming journey about taking care of the world around you. From the onset of Animal Crossing: New Leaf you are the mayor and it’s your job to make sure your town is a prospering place that people want to live. Throughout the real-time days, weeks, months and potentially years you run your town, you'll shape its development by deciding upon which community projects get set into motion, what kinds of ordinances (if any) you’ll ordain, what kinds of shops might inhabit your main street shopping district and sooooo much more...

I know tons of people are playing this game-- any pointers for bringing in the Bells? I've been going to the island solo and collecting beetles in the afternoon and evening; it's been working really well. I really love this game more than I ever thought I would. =)

That's pretty much the best way to earn bells. Also I think there are more sharks on the island during the day.

Foreign fruit sells for double at nooks, so for example
if you started with apples any other fruit will be worth more. Plant different fruit tree's around your town and you'll make a fortune in no time :) plant banana's and coconuts on the beach otherwise they won't grow.

There's also turnips, Joan the boar sells turnips before 12 on sundays around your town for a fairly random price. You can sell them any time in 7 days for a random price at re-tail, turnip value changes twice in a day, and after a week they go rotten and are useless. It's a risk/reward kinda thing

Not sure how much of this you already knew but there ya go lol

I knew about the turnips (but not the specific time Joan comes around on Sunday) but everything else is super helpful! Thanks a bunch! For the most part I've been trying to stay away from guides and things for this game-- just trying to experience it naturally and learn along the way. =)

Nintendo 3DS Games We Still Love Playing Even Today

BLG writes: "While it didn’t sell as well as the Nintendo DS, the Nintendo 3DS was nonetheless a wonderful system. And, while this may be a hot take, it’s easily my favorite handheld. Even more than a decade removed from launch, the system’s library has so many titles that feel as fresh today as they did back at release. While it was hard to narrow down, these 30 Nintendo 3DS games are emblematic of the system’s success."

Swap OoT for Majoras Mask and Pokemon for Xenoblade Chronicles and you might be on to something with this list.
