Destiny "probably one of biggest investments in new IP ever in industry"
Activision has high hopes for the potential of Bungie’s Destiny. In an interview with IGN, Activision Publishing CEO Eric Hirshberg explained that Activision has put a significant amount of money into making sure the franchise will thrive once it launches in 2014.
Destiny has made over $160 million in MTX revenue, and these numbers only account the data from late 2017 to early 2019.

Playing Destiny 1 on PC has been something fans have been requesting for years. It looks like Destiny 1 is now playable on PC via the RPCS3 emulator.
I'm sure it is. The game looks gorgeous. Putting it on other platforms should bring in a lot of money, hopefully... Anyways, I'm sure it will do well. It's like Halo and Borderlands had a child, and it looks awesome.
