Jane Wilde, developed by LevelBit, is a free-to-play side scrolling shooter recently released for Android phones. The main aim of the game is to survive each mini section whilst completing goals and collecting money to upgrade your arsenal of weapons.
"Jane Wilde is a side-scrolling action game set in the wild west with a twist of horror in the form of mythical creatures. On a mission from the sheriff to rid the town of zombies, skeletons, exploding dogs and many other warped creatures, Jane must fight her way through three unique towns and two train journeys to wipe out the unholy demons that are plaguing the area." (DarkZero)
Jane Wilde lacks a premise of reasonable length to make its heroine really charismatic, devoid of mission and environmental diversity. But for all that, it is still a serviceable shooter that deftly toys with some interesting concepts – the frontier life darkened by vampires, wild creatures and some undead creatures, cartoon-style presentation, and simple shooting mechanics.
A linear shooter with a girl with ridiculous boobs in the main role, and a bunch of classic monsters as her enemies. It’s exciting and has great weapons and power-ups to collect, as well as lots of different levels.
