Dean Hall interested in bringing DayZ Standalone to PS4

I would lover to see DayZ on the PS4 so consolers can get a taste of some REAL GAMER CONTROLLED ACTION.

Games like DayZ, Survarium, StarForge, StarCitizen, Eve Online, World of Darkness, Arma 3 is what Gaming is ALL about now.

Huge game worlds, lots of tools, and it's up to the GAMERS to decide how things work.

Nice move for console gamers! Though I'd still rather play it on PC as I like the community much more. Regardless, this is going to be a fantastic gaming experience for all... except MS gamers. Too bad, I guess they will just have to buy a PS4 instead.

The little script kids ruin Dayz everytime i play tho.Teleporting around, take no damage, crazy guns etc.

Sony are flexible, so with PS4 they'll have numerous business models too...It could go F2P or (as I prefer in Day Z's case) a stand alone game.

I like that with F2P games you only purchase the weapons, kits, characters, vehicles you want. Or don't pay anything, but have a longer unlocking process than say COD/BF.

How many retail games have you played this gen where a ton of content you paid for in advance (Retail & D/L) was totally whack? ...Content you never unlocked, or used during multiple plays. Content like crap guns, crap side quests, crap vehicles, crap characters/skills etc?

F2P for some, could be the difference in paying $60 or $20 or $0 to enjoy the game at your personal pace and cost.

I dislike monthly subscription model based games with a passion, but I am very interested in seeing how the F2P or Games as a service model pans out next gen.
