There's only been on WW2 game set in the Pacific, so to say all the spots of WW2 are covered is wrong.

Their ideas for WW1 and Vietnam are the best.

how about they release a patch for cod4, when you get your 7 kill streak your are actually in the chopper and you get to shoot the 50 cal. and the people down below can shoot you out of the chopper or just shoot the chopper down. i think that would be the coolest update they could do.

I was a big fan of Vietcong and Men of Valor, two Vietnam set games that had the atmosphere and setting, but not the skill of Infinity Ward. I'd love to see a talented dev tackle it.

I don't think WWI would be any good, because going back to old-school weaponry would suck.

From what I have been hearing about Call of Duty 5, it may be set back in World War II, and it is going to be done by the guys who did Call of Duty 3. But apparently, they have had tons of more time with it. Way more time then they had with Call of Duty 3, and I heard it's going to be way better then 3 was. But probably not better then 4.

If IW makes all of the COD games, they will end up making 1 per year, at least with Treyarch taking 5, it gives IW an extra year.

CoD - Jungle Warfare - which could be cool could be set in many jungles or could be veitnam but hell make up your own jungle story....or steal from rambo or whatevs...

CoD - Tactical Commander - Duno might not like the name but with the end of the last one it could lead up to a tactical swat CoD or some style along those lines... where they would like try to save a city er something like rainbow ....but with more pizazzzzzzz

CoD - Urban WarFare - Taken in an unkown city where its a huge battle er something....

ah who knows there are wars all over the place and personally i thought CoD shoulda did the whole what if Germany would have attacked the U.S. has great potential for a good story and game.....but needs to done right....unlike a more recent game that tried this

Call of Duty 4 was almost a WW3 simulation, but I want more nuclear war in CoD5.

I want a prologue and aftermath of a nuclear attack.

ive always wanted to play a WW2 game soley from the german perspective. they could show you being indoctrinated by the nazis invading the low countrys, battle for france, defending omoaha beach.

i think it would be a fresh take on the series

I'd like to see a CoD game where terrorist stereotypes aren't used and possibly have the US/Britain as the bad guys or see from the rebels point of view and fight on their side. It's all propaganda with CoD4.

World War 2:

If the game's developers still choose to go ahead with the World War Two theme, then I think it would be a good idea to set a part of it in Russian cities on the Eastern Front fighting the Germans, like the Battle of Stalingrad. The Battle of Stalingrad had the most vicious and ferocious street-fighting battles in WW2 and I reckon this would be cool to play out on a game. A dogfight and bombing campaign would be good on the Eastern Front. I think there should also be more settings on the Pacific theatre of World War 2 aswell, we need more of that. It would be really cool to be fighting in the Pacific island jungles fighting the Japanese, escaping booby-traps, and confronting suicidal Japanese soldiers that come at you with banzai attacks and shooting down sucide Japanese pilots before they cause damage. For variety I believe some warship and submarine action would be nice addition, imagine hunting downg enemy submarines and depth-charging them or blowing the sh*t out of another warship with an 88'cannon!

Modern Warfare:

I think a setting in the mountains, and caves of Afganistan would be cool like a big massive hunt for Bin Laden that would invlove open battle, protecting vehicle convoys, and air strikes on insurgent hideouts. Vicious Street battles with the Taliban in Afgan cities like Kabul would be cool too. It would be cool to link this in the story with other settings, like war-torn African and European Balkan nations where you have to fight genocidal rebel soldiers and resuce civilians and hostages, and guide them to safety all the while fighting pursuing enemies. I still think the Middle East should figure here aswell, maybe Lebanon where you can fight more sophisticated enemeies like suicide bombers. Once again some dogfighting would add variety like being in a Stealth jet shooting down enemy planes and bombing enemy positions.

I dont think Vietnam is a good idea, I would find that a bit boring, that was mostly jungle guerilla warfare.
