Zelda 2: The Adventure of Link Retro Review

Mini Fortress writes:

"The Adventure of Link is the second game in the Zelda series, and sequel to the NES classic, The Legend of Zelda. However, Zelda II isn’t exactly a carbon copy of the original like most sequels tend to be; in fact, it changes up the formula quite a bit. Zelda II is one of my personal favorites in the series. People should stop writing it off as the "black sheep of the series" and give it a try.

I agree, they might be surprised to find a fun, challenging experience.

Never got around to beating it, but it is actually a really good game, even if it doesn't match up to the original. I would definitely recommend it to anyone who is interested in nes games.

I haven't managed to beat the game yet, but I'm close. I love the game, as well, definitely an underrated NES game.

Great game. Still play it every few years and wonder wtf happened to gaming?

I agree, I often feel the same way. Modern games just don't compare to anything from the 80s/90s. Feels like I'm playing a guided experience rather than a video game.
