Who will be revealed as a newcomer for Super Smash Bros. 4 at E3?

E3 is almost upon us! Just a few more sleeps before gaming Christmas. What are you most excited for? The 3D Mario game, Mario Kart U, Sonic Lost World or Bayonetta 2? Personally, I can’t wait to see the first trailer of the new Super Smash Bros. game. Obviously, the game will be awesome. What I want to know is who will be revealed as a newcomer. Nintendo has a vast lineup of characters to pick from. Some famous and others not so much. Who will be selected? Who will make the cut? Who will be shown at this years E3?

I always saw Snake as a Playstation character, yet he ended up in the last one.

The fact is that Hatsune Miku is Sega, and shes a very popular character most especially with females, it wouldn't be surprising if somehow she appeared in the game.

The reason why I say N from Pokemon is because he wants Pokemon to be free, he's an actual Pokemon character that would fight with his fists.

I'm hoping for one of the characters from the "Rainfall" games to show up. Personally, I'd prefer Zael or Aeron over Shulk but any of them would be great!

i think Zael would be great if they include the prank bananna. and Aeron with the chain would be cool. gotta have the monado blade so throw Shulk in too. i want all three.

Id be surprised if they announce the roster at e3. Nintendo loves a tease and they havent even shown us gameplay yet.

My guess is they will show 1 newcomer thats a bit of a no brainer eg Sonic anf then use a direct around September to reveal more.

I just got an idea for a new mode in this game. One where other players can control the Assist Trophies. It, probably wouldn't get played much, but it would be fun.

Mega Man, Pac-Man, and a well-known Tekken character are the 3 that are almost a 100% guarantee... or instead of Mega Man, (for shiggles) the car from Daytona USA.

I really don't want them to put a fighting game character into SSB (ie Tekken/Street Fighter). Sadly, I'm pretty sure it will happen. Although, they did say that they will limit the roster and the amount of 3rd parties in the game.

Need Tales of Characters!!!!!!!! I guess Lloyd and collete? Or Kratos! Also, characters from the new Fire Emblem would be nice. Chrom and Lucina maybe?

Also, Xenoblade characters! Shulk and Fiora?

And how about a Soul Calibur character? Probably won't fit very well, but one can hope :P

MegaMan is highly likely (second behind Sonic in desired characters for Brawl)

I wouldn't be surprised to see Bayonetta considering the exclusivity, same for a return of Sonic. I hope Snake returns, he was one of my favs

Xenoblade character, 5th Gen Pokemon, new Fire Emblem or Shin Megami Tensei are possible. I'd suggest a Tales character, but the exclusivity of Tales of Symphonia collection to PS3 (despite being a GC ex) tells me otherwise.

I'm fine with whomever, however, I would absolutely love it if they didn't remove any current characters. I was only content when they scrapped Mewtwo, Pichu and Dr. Mario in Brawl because they were either replaced with characters almost identical to them (Mewtwo to Lucario), just crap in general (Pichu) or just a clone of another character pretty much (Dr. Mario).

I'm a massive fan of having a huge roster, and I hope that this game contains the largest one we've seen so far with all current characters available. :)

As for new characters characters though:
. A Pokémon from X & Y (perhaps the new Mewtwo form)
. Waluigi
. Phoenix Wright
. Professor Layton (not sure how - but would be amazing!)

I hope they have the Nintendo characters from old first-party games that were released in NA but not Japan. Such as the StarTropics guy.
Aswell as all the obvious ones from the DS/3DS/WII/WII U era.

I'm sure we'll be able to play as Miis too.
