Review of a F2P simulation of the original EverQuest from 1999 before it was drastically changed, or some would say ruined.
During EG7’s Capital Markets Day stream earlier today, EG7’s CEO Ji Ham discussed several in-development projects including a potential EverQuest 3 that is in an early “ideation phase”.
In the “Producer’s Letter April 2023,” the team behind the MMORPG said the new UI Engine for the game releases in April, more Tempest Festival content is arriving in May, and Pride Month familiars are returning come June.
Ruinous circumstances are brewing in the shadows. Are you ready?
Granted I haven't played it years now, I wouldn't really say they made the game easier. I mean sure, they streamlined a few things and made travel much easier, but the high end game was still very difficult and required you to be on top of your game for your raids to succeed. One person with one screw up could get everyone killed. I spent a lot of hours playing that game. Maybe more than I should have. But there's plenty of memorable moments.
Yea I suppose they didn't make it a whole lot easier perhaps just more convenient and up to date. But they did completely change it, I just love the feeling behind the original game launched in 1999. However, EQ2 is certainly easier.
