Now I'm worried. I don't care how many games say even though there are Microtransactions that its "fully playable" without buying anything, but my experiences with those kinds of games are that they are 10 times more annoying and frustrating to play. The fun factor is lowered when its F2P with MTs. Here's hoping the consoles and PC version is a set price full fledged game like the original.

Minato-Namikaze3973d ago

Yes, most f2p games set the bar so high that you almost have to pay and skill doesnt really matter much. At that point i jsut quit not that i play many of them any way.

despair3973d ago

completely agree, pay to win does not add to the fun and when skill become irrelevant what's left? I really hope they change it or this is the exception to the rule but I doubt it, especially seeing that EA obviously has a big part to play in the design decisions of this nature.

Blank3973d ago

My thoughts exactly at first I was excited but as I kept reading and saw F2P and microtransactions. I got more weary with lowered expectations. It better not be a grindfest I would much rather have a full retail release over this.

despair3973d ago

This was actually in my top 10 most anticipated games, I loved the original that much. But this news has me very worried, I'll reserve judgement for the previews and final game but if it really is like the other microtransaction games then we will probably be disappointed.

FaSCoRP3973d ago (Edited 3973d ago )

basically with free to play you will have access to a single daisy, a potato, and a simple shooter plan. If you need anything else you will have to pay

Seriously, it will be easier to just charge 5 bucks for everything

The Meerkat3973d ago

At $5 or even $10 I'd but it.

Microtransactions mean I'll wait, then pirate the full cracked game.

despair3973d ago

hell I'd buy it if it was as good or better than PvZ for 40 bucks.

Sad to read that "We Happy Few" is a disappointment. I own it but haven't gotten around to playing it yet. I am a BIG fan of their previous game, "Contrast."

I LOVE "Anthem," but I didn't get into the game until late 2020. I put in over 900 hours into the game. It isn't perfect, but it is a masterpiece. I look forward to the eventual sequel, which I predict 3 / 4 to around the end of the PlayStation 6's lifecycle.

With so much to choose from and so many different experiences, we thought we would list our favourite mobile games that we have invested our time playing over the years."

LOVED the first one. Haven't touched this since they monetized the sh*t out of it.
