GS: Alexey Pajitnov launches Marbly on iOS, his first game designed exclusively for mobile devices.
This year with Tetris hitting its 35th anniversary, and Nintendolife caught up with Alexey to ask him all sorts of career-spanning questions, from how he got Tetris bundled in with the original Game Boy, to what it’s like for the creator of Tetris to have 98 other players trying to beat him all at once.
Warp Zoned writes:
"Most people know that Alexey Pajitnov created Tetris while working for the Soviet government in the early 80s, but the story will be retold this October in a brand new graphic novel by Box Brown."
As the second and final day of the 2015 DICE Summit came to a close, Alexey Pajitnov took the stage in a rare public appearance to talk frankly about the history and legacy of Tetris, his most famous creation. Seated next to longtime business partner and Tetris Company Managing Director Henk Rogers, Pajitnov told the game's stories in the form of a Q&A—and afterward, the duo spoke to Ars Technica about the series' past and future.
