It was pretty much confirmed that David Hayter longtime voice actor for Snake in the Metal Gear series had been shown the door. But with a new trailer from Konami and a not so mysterious tweet from Hayter maybe the beloved voice actor isn't as gone as we think.

Amazing how bad this game looks already. We keep acting like this gen doesn't feel like an update but I think we're starting to see it.
The game started really strong in that hospital, but after a couple of hours I wondered if it was even an mgs game I was playing.
I'm beginning to think part of them saying he wasn't voicing was part truth and part deception. Since they seem to be treating MGSV as 2 parts, maybe he's doing one part, probably the younger version, and someone else is doing the older version of Big Boss.
