The name itself is enough to attract attention. When I first noticed Shark Attack Deathmatch featured on the indie page of the Xbox 360 Dashboard, We at The Gamer Scene chuckled and imagined ludicrous, unpolished gameplay–with sharks! What became apparent is that below the surface-level absurdity, SADM is a truly addicting and unique game.

TBH... I've never considered how load shedding impacts South African game development.
There are so many talented SA game developers out there and many will sadly come and go without the general gaming public being aware of them and the games they make.
